This proposal is for the extension and alteration to an existing dental practice. The dentists wanted to improve facilities within the practice premises. The scheme proposals added accommodation and improved external and internal access. The internal layout was rationalised to provide public usage to the ground floor, with occasional visitor access and staff use to the first floor.

The proposal accommodates a new surgery with a reconfigured waiting area that leads from the newly designed entrance. Existing ground floor spaces provide a new sterilisation room, in line with new guidance on cross contamination from the NHS.

The extension will be built in masonry with a smooth rendered finish. This references the existing rendered panels on the building, whilst providing a professional and crisp appearance to the practice in a contemporary style.
