This scheme is an extension to a family house in West Kirby, Wirral. The owners originally bought the ground floor flat, and subsequently purchased the upper floor flat a few years later. The two flats were then converted back into the original house. The remaining kitchen, from the ground floor flat, was very small for what was now a 5 bedroom house, therefore a scheme was developed to extend the property with a new open plan kitchen and dining space to accommodate them and their growing family.

The extension is a bold, timber clad and timber framed extension that complements the existing red brick property. The clean lines internally are complemented with a contemporary kitchen, white limestone floors and hardwood bespoke windows stained black. A black limestone has been used externally with cedar decking and iroko fencing.
