Our scheme for Bramley Court in Oswestry has received a Highly Commended Award from Oswestry and District Civic Society.

The scheme was completed last year and is the continuation of our work with Kitwe Developments Ltd from Oswestry.

The site, which is on the edge of a conservation area was purchased by our client with outline planning permission for the demolition of the existing bungalow and its replacement with three dwellings. However the detailed proposals by the previous developers had not been granted and verbal guidance from the planners was to reduce the site to two dwellings whichwould reduce the sites value considerably.

Our initial contemporary designs were not going to be supported by the stakeholders involved and these traditional designs developed in line with these views and the preferences of the client as a house builder. We developed a close working relationships with the planners and produced individual designs for the three houses, each with their own appearance and character which where supported by the Local Authority and achieved Planning Approval at the first attempt.

The properties have all sold despite the difficult housing market, which we believe is testament to the design and spacious and well thought out internal layouts of the homes.
