Bromilow Architects Ltd have just received planning permission for this replacement dwelling in the greenbelt.
The proposed scheme will replace a dilapidated bungalow and provides our client with a new home for his family.
The new home is a significant increase in size over the bungalow it replaces, which can be difficult to achieve with replacement dwellings in the greenbelt. The usual guide being a replacement no more than 15% bigger than the original by volume. In this case we have managed to maximise this for our client and have managed to more than double the size of dwelling on the site, through the combination of our knowledge of the planning policies and good design.
